FRP Wet Scrubber Tower

FRP vertical scrubber for acid mist, alkaline exhaust and industrial odor pretreatment.

Product Details

High-Efficiency Industrial Acid & Gas Neutralization Systems

Our FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastics) Wet Scrubber Towers are engineered to capture, treat, and neutralize hazardous industrial exhaust gases, acid mists, and soluble particulates. Manufactured using high-performance vinyl ester/polyester resins and advanced fiberglass winding technology, our wet scrubbers provide superior structural integrity and exceptional corrosion resistance in harsh chemical environments.

Key Features & Advantages

  • Unmatched Corrosion Resistance: Built with premium FRP materials, ideal for high-concentration acidic, alkaline, and corrosive gas streams where traditional metals degrade quickly.
  • High Removal Efficiency: Engineered packing media and multi-stage spray nozzle configurations achieve gas absorption efficiency up to 99%.
  • Low Operating Cost & Pressure Drop: Optimized fluid dynamics design minimizes pressure loss, reducing system fan power consumption.
  • Lightweight & High Structural Strength: High strength-to-weight ratio simplifies installation, roof-top mounting, and long-term structural maintenance.
  • Custom Engineering: Tailored dimensions, multi-bed packing configurations, and integrated mist eliminators to match specific airflow volumes and gas compositions.

Working Principle

  1. Gas Entry: Hazardous exhaust gas enters the lower chamber of the wet scrubber tower under negative or positive pressure.
  2. Absorption & Neutralization: The gas flows upward through a packed bed layer while neutralizer liquid (e.g., NaOH, H2SO4, or water) is sprayed evenly downward via high-efficiency atomizing nozzles.
  3. Gas-Liquid Contact: High surface-area packing media maximizes the contact area between gas and liquid phase, enabling rapid chemical absorption and reaction.
  4. Demisting: The cleaned gas passes through a high-efficiency mist eliminator to remove entrained liquid droplets.
  5. Clean Discharge: Purified air is safely exhausted via the stack, fully compliant with environmental emission standards.
